Forecast as of 5 am 6 january 2013: at 2 am today, the low pressure area was established at 910 kms southeast of mindanao embedded along the intertropical convergence zone affecting mindanao. eastern visayas and mindanao will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. cagayan valley will experience cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeastern monsoon. metro manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy with brief rainshowers and thunderstorms. sea travel is risky over the seaboards of northern and central luzon and the eastern seaboard of southern luzon due to the surge of the northeastern monsoon. pagasa-dost
